I am a songwriter.  I don’t write rock, pop, jazz, folk, blues, americana, world or hip hop. I write songs. Songs have a life of their own often dictating the direction that the song will take. There are times in the creative process when I don’t recall how I got from point A to point B. I love writing songs. I can’t think of a better high.

In my career, I’ve written numerous songs (approximately 400 compositions). Sometimes they have a specific purpose e.g., PSA’s , children’s theater, musical theater to name a few. I  have performed as a solo artist as well as the front man for The Biting Edge and We Are Buffalo.  Nothing deters me from expressing who and what I am. I am a proud member of the fraternity/sorority of songwriters. For us, it’s loving what you do and doing what you love.

I am also a highly educated linguist. I can not emphasize how much that has influenced how I hear human sounds and speech related to making music. The truth is I am somewhat of a hybrid as I have joyfully interweaved my educational experience with my creative processes.
